National Knife Day is almost here. Join us at the STEELPORT factory for the 3rd Annual National Knife Day: Knife Maker Showcase, presented by the Portland Knife Center of Excellence. Nine Portland knife brands (@steelportknifeco, @leathermantools, @benchmadeknifecompany, @gerbergear, @crkt_knives, @kershawknives, @williamhenry_studio, @thejamesbrand, @ztknives) will come together for a day celebrating the people, history, craftsmanship, and innovation behind Oregon’s knifemaking community. Meet makers and founders, watch live forging demonstrations, explore historic knives, shop Portland-made tools, and enjoy BBQ from @lil_barbecue and drinks from @pfriembeer Family Brewers. There will also be a founder tool signing, an Oregon State University Blacksmithing Club display, and a final chance to enter the Ultimate Portland Knifemaker Giveaway with more than $11,500 in prizes. Sunday, August 23 | 10AM–2PM | @steelportknifeco Factory | 3602 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland Free and open to the public. Come celebrate National Knife Day with us.
