Deep dive into the Yeti ARC Transmission 90 hardtail mountain bikes chosen as the loaner bike for the 2026 Colorado League Bike Library. Saturday August 22nd the 2nd half of these stunning bikes will find their new homes for the season. 15 high school athletes were nominated to receive a loaner Yeti ARC for the 2026 race season. These ARC's are spec'd with SRAM 90 Transmission components, DT Swiss wheels, and a Fox 36 SL fork to race and train on for the season. At the end of the season, these bikes will be sold on The Pro's Closet website and all proceeds of those sales will be donated to the Colorado High School Cycling League to further support the important work they do. In addition to these sweet Yeti ARC's, the athletes will also receive sunglasses from Optic Nerve, a 6D helmet, Hestra gloves, custom stickers from VC Graphix, and additional merch from participating sponsors. Ventum exploded onto the multisport scene in 2015 launching the "One" triathlon bike with their striking Z shaped frame. A decade later, Ventum takes a sharp pivot with a visually more traditional double-triangle frame design. Look closely, you'll see bold engineering in areas like the fork and chainstays, they're massive. Ventum isn't the only one playing around with this concept. Factor recently launched their aero road bike (coincidentally called ONE) that also boasts a HUGE fork. It might be tempting to try to put a MTB tire in there, just for the fun of it, but vertical clearance will prevent you. The front cockpit on this bike is impressive to look at. The adjustability is vast. Allowing you to dial in your fit so you're fast, comfortable, and feeling great when you get out of the saddle and start running. It should be noted, the Tempus doesn't seem to be replacing their triathlon specific ONE model - that bike is still around. The Tempus is UCI-legal, so if you're competing in time trials or triathlons that mandate UCI-legal bikes, the this bike is the way to go. No two Squids are the same. The brand began when a handful of Cyclocross buddies began spray painting their bikes and loved the process of creating something unique to them. Today, all Squid Bikes continue to be spray painted. Riders have the option of ordering a raw finish frame and spray painting it themselves or selecting "Spray to Order" and having Squid spray paint it for you. What's Owen doing on the ground? Just showing off the adjustability of this Orbea Rallon E-LTD (the "E" stands for Enduro, not Electric). This bike features a mount at the bottom bracket to add/remove weight low and center for steep downhill descents. The linkage at the bottom bracket also has the ability to be swapped out to optimize the bikes geometry for a dual-crown fork, making this bike a stand-out whether you're riding Enduro or full on downhill. This particular build has the latest XTR brakes from Shimano and Live Valve Neo Factory suspension from Fox. Tech that adjusts suspension stiffness based on constant, immediate feedback from the bike. Orbea out did themselves with this bike. Color us impressed.
