"Seeing 'Musical Bodies' has changed the way I view my relationship with my instruments," says Allison Becker, lead singer of the Brooklyn-based indie rock group Wetsuit. Here, she reflects on her experience seeing the first major exhibition to explore the relationship between musical instruments and the body, now on view at The Met Fifth Avenue through September 27. Now on view! This is the first early Ptolemaic fragment of the Odyssey ever discovered. It dates to the beginning of the Hellenistic period, after Alexander the Great, when the Great Library at Alexandria was built and began gathering works of Greek literature.
