This is Mattie. She arrived at her rescue with dental disease, mammary masses, and a severe skin infection that caused extensive fur loss. Thanks to an incredibly generous donation from @seescandies, the entirety of Mattie’s care was covered, including surgery to remove her masses, a dental cleaning, and medicated baths to soothe her skin. Today, she’s healing beautifully, her fur is growing back, and she’s officially available for adoption with @k9kismet in California! To make things even sweeter, her foster visited their local See’s Candies to shop the Dogust collection and bring Mattie home some merch ❤️🩹 Throughout August, @seescandies is celebrating what many affectionately call DOGust: a universal birthday for rescue dogs whose biological birthdays are unknown. To mark the occasion, they’re helping sponsor the care of dogs like Mattie over the next month. If you visit a See’s Candies shop in August, you’ll have the opportunity to donate to our foundation at checkout or on sees.com 🤗

This is Bentley. He was found as a stray alongside his mom and seven newborn siblings. He was the smallest of litter, and soon became extremely sick. Tests confirmed he was suffering from parvovirus, a highly contagious disease that can be fatal to unvaccinated puppies. Thanks to an incredibly generous donation from @seescandies, the entirety of Bentley’s emergency care was covered. We’re thrilled to report he survived, has fully recovered, and was adopted by his loving foster family ❤️🩹 Throughout August, @seescandies is celebrating what many affectionately call DOGust: a universal birthday for rescue dogs whose biological birthdays are unknown.
