If you think you don’t like patchouli, this one might actually change your mind. @fabbricadellamusa Mia Alba Mistica opens with a juicy, ripe peach with a soft hint of patchouli, then transitions into a creamy, buttery ylang-ylang with touches of neroli and sage. As it dries down, the patchouli becomes richer and more earthy, balanced by warm cedarwood and a subtle sweetness that keeps the whole scent feeling smooth and inviting. It feels warm, airy, and very sunlit without being loud. If you like soft, woody-herbal florals with a fruity twist, this one is worth a sniff. I tested a sample of @amouageofficial Love Hibiscus and immediately knew it was full-bottle worthy. It’s proof of how much skin chemistry can completely transform a fragrance. The dominant note on my skin from start to finish is a hyper-realistic, juicy passion fruit. It hits immediately, bright, tangy, and drenched in a layer of salted caramel and citrus that gives it an instant, addictive punch. What makes the scent so compelling, though, is the contrast underneath. Instead of staying a simple fruity fragrance, it deepens into a lush heart of tart hibiscus flowers, powdery orris, and smoky frankincense. It settles into a rich, grounding base of sandalwood, cypriol, and vanilla. You’re left with this stunning interplay between bright, tropical tartness and dark, sensuous depth. You can grab both samples and full bottles at @scentsplit #scents #amouage #hibiscus #passionfruit #nicheperfume

Welton × Chris Collins Talisman — exclusively available at Scent Split in the U.S. A collaboration built on contrast: bright citrus and ginger, delicate white tea and jasmine, then a deeper trail of incense, elemi, juniper, and papyrus. Fresh at first. Warm, resinous, and quietly smoky as it settles. Talisman feels polished, magnetic, and made to linger. Created by perfumer Vincent Ricord in collaboration with Chris Collins and Welton London. WORLD OF CHRIS COLLINS WELTON LONDON Official Now available exclusively at Scent Split in the U.S.

If David Lynch directed The Little Mermaid and Filippo Sorcinelli did the production design, I imagine the whole theatre would smell like Oceano Viola. I was a little nervous about this one because oceanic fragrances are rarely my thing, but the violet and iris are much more present than I expected. Rather than being swallowed by the marine notes, they feel wrapped in them: violet, iris, algae, seawater, driftwood and oakmoss creating something strange, earthy and genuinely haunting. It makes me think of the original Hans Christian Andersen Little Mermaid, where the story is much darker and sadder than the version most of us grew up with. By the dry down, Oceano Viola smells like my imagined version of the sea foam she becomes at the end: damp wood, cold violet, earth and something almost like a shipwreck. Mournful, elegant and very beautiful. And the bottle itself is extraordinary. Filippo Sorcinelli has a way of making fragrance feel like a complete event, from the scent to the object to the ritual of opening it. Thank you to Scent Split for sending me this bottle. If you’re curious about Filippo Sorcinelli’s work, they have Oceano Viola along with a great selection of his other fragrances to sample. This is quickly becoming one of my favourite iris scents. • (PR) #FilippoSorcininelli #OceanoViola #ScentSplit #NicheFragrance #perfumereview
