I expected something much heavier and more intense from the name and the notes, but on my skin it’s this beautiful mix of golden honeyed fruit, soft spice, warm amber, and airy florals that feels incredibly easy to wear. There’s a subtle boozy warmth running through it that makes it feel cozy, while the powdery floral touch keeps everything soft and lifted. I especially love how it manages to feel rich without ever becoming thick or overwhelming. Roma 271 by @olfactivetraveller has a whole mood to it… It opens with a bright hit of citrus paired with rich coffee, a combo that’s somehow both refreshing and intense. As it settles, the citrus softens and the coffee becomes warmer, wrapped in a subtle smoky note reminiscent of dusk creeping over ancient cobblestones rather than old cathedral incense. In the dry-down warm amber and patchouli give it depth, while orris adds this soft, refined touch that keeps everything feeling polished. The incense stays quietly in the background, adding just enough mystery without taking over. On my skin, this definitely leans masculine, and the longevity has been so good.
