36 capturedSince becoming CEO of Molson Coors, I’ve made a point to champion beer and the special moments that bring people together, because those moments of connection are increasingly rare. A recent Financial Times story highlighted that on an average day in 2023, one in 10 Americans between ages 23 and 29 did not spend a single minute interacting face to face with another person. Read that statistic again and think about how that’s shaped the world today. We’ve never had more ways to stay connected, yet too many people feel disconnected. More scrolling. Less talking. I don’t believe the desire for connection has gone away. In fact, we’re seeing evidence of the opposite. Bars and restaurants have long been places where people come together, and that's still true today. The continued strength in those spaces is a reminder of the value people put on connecting with one another. Consumer habits evolve, but the desire for community and shared experiences is consistent. Whether it's meeting colleagues for a drink after work, gathering to watch a game, celebrating a milestone with family, or catching up with friends, these moments matter. They create belonging. They strengthen relationships. And they remind us that some of life's best moments happen when we're together. For generations, beer has been part of these occasions. We're proud to play a role in these meaningful moments, and I believe encouraging more connection, more community and more togetherness has never been more important.

Amazing day this week in Keenesburg, Colorado celebrating a solar project that's transforming our former coal mining site into a source of renewable electricity! It's such a great story -- land that originally supported Coors' energy needs through coal mining is being transformed into a solar field that will continue serving Colorado, a place Coors has called home for generations, for years to come. The ~16,000 solar panels will deliver electricity to the same Xcel Energy grid that serves our Golden Valley facilities, offsetting a portion of our electricity consumption. Big thanks to Ben Moline and the MCBC Renewables Team, our partner Engie, and everyone involved in bringing new life to this site. Cheers!

When Non-alc Marketing Activation Director Matt Stallman walked into a high-end bar and told the bartender he works on the Fever-Tree brand, the bartender feigned ignorance. But just as Stallman was about to begin explaining it, the bartender cut him off. “Of course I know Fever-Tree,” the bartender laughed. “It’s the best, by far. It’s all we use here.” Following the brand’s first national campaign in the U.S., Fever-Tree is building momentum this summer with a 24-week sampling tour that’s hitting cities and premier bartender conventions. Having started in April in San Antonio and continuing through September, the tour includes 72 activation days in over 20 cities – because to truly understand what makes Fever-Tree so special, you have to try it for yourself, Stallman explained. Since 2004, our Finance and IT teams in Milwaukee have been friendly rivals in cricket. But one thing the dueling opponents can always agree on is what beers and beverages to enjoy after the match. The annual tradition is just another way our culture is driven by celebrating together. Whether finance or IT, our teams came together over fun competition, food, and great beverages. Cheers to both teams, to honoring a decades-old tradition, and to some good old fun together 🍻!

A few weeks ago, I joined our barley growers in Colorado's San Luis Valley for the 80th anniversary of our Coors barley program. There's nothing like being in the barley fields, right where it all begins. Hearing firsthand from growers who have been part of the Molson Coors family for generations was a great reminder that great beer starts with great barley from great people, even before production begins at our breweries around the world. The relationships we've built with growers over generations are the foundation of our success. Their collective commitment helps ensure that every beer we brew lives up to the iconic name on the can or bottle. To all of our barley growers, farmers and the Molson Coors barley team -- thank you. We are proud to partner with you and grateful for the role you play in championing beer every day. Read more about our Barley Days celebrations in the comments.

Peroni has been a rising star in Molson Coors’ U.S. portfolio for the past decade, and in 2026, Peroni’s dollar sales grew by over 11% according to Circana year-to-date through July 12. Elizabeth Hitch, VP of Marketing, Above Premium Beer, attributes Peroni’s success to the brand having a clear promise to drinkers to bring Italian style to any given moment. “Peroni is bringing Italian style to everyday life, drinkers are taking notice, and the results show,” says Hitch. “Peroni knows exactly what it is. It’s bringing authentic style to people who want to make everyday moments more memorable.” The brand is continuing to fuel its success this summer, because nothing says Italy quite like summertime. So in Italian-summer spirit, the brand recently rolled out a window into La Dolce Vita... Introducing, Peroni Portals. Click the link in comments to learn more.

A new research partnership is taking root in the Fraser Valley. KPU and Molson Coors Beverage Company unveiled a new hop research and development site today at the Molson Coors’ Fraser Valley Brewery in Chilliwack. The site will be dedicated to hosting field trials of hop varieties developed by KPU’s Applied Genomics Centre, while also serving as a space to research best irrigation practices and more. “We’re crossing different plants to create varieties with desirable traits, which we are then planting and evaluating in the field. The idea is to create something that is resilient against heat and drought, while also being profitable and desirable for brewing,” says AGC researcher Dr. Mathias Schuetz, who is the leading the project. The hop yard also serves as a living classroom, with KPU students from multiple disciplines — including horticulture, biology and brewing — gaining hands-on experience each step of the way. Back in 2021, the Milwaukee City Council designated part of our Miller Brewery grounds as “The Champagne of Beers Region,” an ode to Miller High Life’s tagline since its introduction in 1903. Five years later, we’re doing the obvious next thing. We’re launching an official search for the Mayor of the Champagne of Beers Region: a Milwaukee resident who captures the spirit of the city and the sense of community that makes us proud to call it the home of High Life. Why are we doing this now? For starters, it’s fun. But there’s more going on here… Beer is a local business, and roots matter. All 123 years of High Life’s legacy are woven into the history of Milwaukee, and vice versa. Local insights lead to strong programs that are perfect for the market, but wouldn’t make sense anywhere else. There’s only one Champagne of Beers Region, and there can only be one Mayor of that region. That’s part of the charm. Once the region’s honorary mayor is selected, an inauguration will be hosted on Sept. 19 at the Miller Visitor’s Center. Find more details by visiting the link in our comments through Aug 23, and by visiting the Miller Brewery Tour website. Cheers!
