How we designed a bed frame that could transform from wood to upholstery. We started with The Floyd Bed (the same real wood and steel system we’ve been refining for a decade) and designed around it rather than replacing it. The cushioned headboard slips over the existing Floyd Headboard. Custom upholstered rails wrap around the original frame and attach with simple thumbscrews. No modifications to the Bed. The result is a fully upholstered bed that can always become a wood bed again. Available now at floydhome.com 10 years of The Floyd Bed. Still evolving.
