Everything you love about a wild game burger, but wrapped in a crispy tortilla... Dangerously good. 👀🔥 Full recipe below! Eva Shockey's Wild Game Burger Tacos 🍔🌮 For the sauce: - 1/4 cup mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons ketchup - 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar - Flaky sea salt - Pickle relish (Optional) For the tacos: - Ground wild game meat - Tortillas - Sliced cheese - Tomatoes - Diced onions - Shredded lettuce - Pickles or relish - Salt - Pepper 1. In a bowl, mix sauce ingredients until combined. 2. Add onions to a pan or griddle and cook until caramelized. Leave a small amount in the pan for your first taco, and set the rest aside. 3. Spread a thin, even layer of ground meat directly onto a tortilla. Use a fork to flatten and even the meat, then season with salt and pepper. 4. Place tortilla meat-side down into the hot pan, directly over the caramelized onions. Cook until browned and slightly crispy, then flip. 5. Top with sliced cheese. Cover pan and cook on low until cheese is melted evenly. 6. Remove from pan. Drizzle with burger sauce, then add tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. 7. Repeat as many times as needed, then serve! Need new ways to use wild game from your hunts? Eva Shockey's got ya covered. 🌶️ Full jalapeño popper recipe below or at the link in bio👇 Wild Game Jalapeño Poppers: - 1 cup Worcestershire sauce - 1 cup lime juice - 1 cup soy sauce - 2-4 elk steaks (or any other wild game steaks!) - 20 fresh jalapeño peppers - 12oz. herb cream cheese - 20 strips of bacon, cut in half - Honey to drizzle at the end (Optional) 1. Thinly slice steaks into bite-sized pieces that are the same length and width as the jalapeños. 2. Mix Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, and soy sauce together to create the marinade. 3. Add sliced steak into the sauce. Cover and let sit for at least 2 hours in the fridge. 4. Preheat oven or grill to 350 degrees. 5. Halve jalapeños lengthwise. Remove seeds and center membrane. Place cut-side facing up on a plate or tray. 6. Spoon cream cheese into the halved jalapeños. 7. Place one strip of marinated elk steak on top of each jalapeño. 8. Wrap each jalapeño in a piece of bacon. 9. Place on grill, cut side up, for 10-15 minutes. The poppers are ready when the meat is cooked and the jalapeños are tender and lightly charred. 10.
